s in April 1992 against Luton.
During his time at Villa Park he has won two Coca-Cola Cup Winners medals and has built a
reputation as one of the best keepers in the Premiership. The 1993-94 season was arguably
his best in England as a series of outstanding performances, including an amazing eight
penalty saves, saw him named as the Villa Player of the Year.
The 1997-98 season was a mixed one for Bosnich. His beloved Australian national team was
knocked out of the World Cup qualifying competition by Iran whilst his domestic campaign
was marred by a series of niggling injuries but despite all this and the challenge of
Michael Oakes he continued to show the form which makes him one of the World's top
shot-stoppers.
As his contract thins out towards the end of the season Manchester United prove their
interest, as top Goalie, Peter Schmeichael's Soccer life spins away. It seems likely that
the top Australian Goal Keeper will be playing for Manchester United next season.
